CORNWALL, Ontario – The Hub for Beyond 21 Foundation is hosting its annual Holiday Bake Sale, raising funds to support adults with developmental disabilities in and around Cornwall who are no longer eligible for the school system.
âThis year our goal is to help even more adults with developmental disabilities access our program so more families can get the respite they need,â said Hannah Pearson, Director of Fundraising. and marketing for the Beyond 21 Foundation.
The bake sale will be held online, allowing people to order their pastries on the Beyond 21 website anytime between October 25 and November 8, with the pickup date slated for December 10 or 11.
Beyond 21 will have a team of employees and volunteers adhering to COVID-19 protocols while placing orders.
Beyond 21 chef and host Margaret, along with a few handpicked volunteers, work together to create all of the baked goods used for fundraising.

Pearson said that although they plan to take orders between Oct. 25 and Nov. 8, they have already reached 75% of their total order capacity, as of Oct. 29, recommending people place their orders as soon as possible before. to sell them. again this year.
