Sugar, butter and flour. These are three simple ingredients that can do a lot of magic together. At Uprising Breads Bakery Café, it’s literally their bread and butter!
Since 1976, this local Bakery Café on Venables Street and Commercial Drive has offered flour in the form of sweet honey breads and a variety of traditional pastries, cookies and pies in the East Van community.
If you’re curious about their background, for over 45 years Uprising Breads Bakery Café has served nearly three generations of customers, four major renovations, five different espresso machines, and over 2.5 million muffins!
