Birthdays are three times the fun for a Florida family.

On August 25, the Lammert family celebrated the birthdays of three sisters — Sophia, 7, Giuliana, 4, and Mia, 1 — who incredibly were all born on the same day three years apart.

Mom Kristin Lammert told PEOPLE that Sophia and Giuliana spend much of the day at school, but plan to celebrate with them at a special dinner on Thursday night.

“We’re going to Chef Mickey’s restaurant at Disney, where they can see their favorite characters,” Kristin said. “We’re having a huge party which will be a Barbie Mermaid pool party at our house on Saturday. We can’t wait!”

She added, “Several family members are coming to town for their big party. I’ve been decorating and planning the food and activities for a few months now. The girls are so excited to celebrate their birthdays today!”

Kristin said that since welcoming Mia last year, the family have “adjusted to life with very busy schedules” between things like school and dance lessons.

She also says she and hubby Nick have their hands full with Mia, who “seemed to turn into a busy toddler overnight.”

Kristin already said PEOPLE that she did not expect to give birth to her three daughters on the same day.

“We didn’t ‘envision’ it, but we find it to be incredibly special, unique, and like it was destiny,” she said in October last year.

According Rob Warren, professor of sociology at the University of Minnesotathe probability of three girls sharing birthdays in different years is about an 8 in 1 million chance.

“We always knew we wanted to have three kids three years apart, but we certainly didn’t plan on them sharing the exact same birthday,” Kristin said. “You never know how fertility is going to pan out, but we’ve specifically ‘chosen’ not to try our third until it forces us to have a September due date. But, clearly, baby Mia had his own plan.”

She continued, “Girls love to share birthdays.”

The three sisters are already incredibly close, Kristin told PEOPLE.

In an interview with hello america, Nick said the couple hope to recognize the significance of this particular coincidence.

“It’s definitely up to us as parents to instill in them that it’s very special,” he said. “And they never uttered or even thought about not sharing a birthday. … I think that’s a special bond between them all.”
